ABSTRACT ABOUT FLORENCE NIGHTANGLE

Background information

In the subject of English gave us the task of making an abstract on a subject we are interested, I elected the first nursing, Florence nightingale, because she is very important in the nursing actually, was considered a pioneer of modern nursing, and created the first nursing conceptual model.

Purpose of your research

My purpose is know about de history, what did  Florence Nightangle and which is her legacy in the nursing actually

Methods/materials/subjects/procedures

In 1854 Florence was sent to the Crimean War to provide care the wonded soldiers at war. In just one month had already succeeded in improving maintenance of the rooms, had received bedding and new clothing for soldiers and had improved hospital food. 

For their efforts and hard work, geive him money to crieitt a school of nursing, colld “the nightingale school”

In 1887, there were 42 hospitals with head nurses treinid in the Nightingale School, in which a total of five handred and twenty nurses had complitd their treining.

 

In 1934, the Florence Nightingale International Foundation was crieitid.

In conclusion Florence left an important legacy to the nursing of today, thanks to innovative vision of the profession and the phenomenon of care
